Chandigarh: A disabled orthopaedic surgeon has been shuttling from pillar to post of the UT administration's corridors for the past three months to get the post, he claims, he has right to. He is feeling shattered as the reserved post was denied, saying that his disability can put patients at risk.

The social justice ministry is all set to launch the process for registration of disabled persons on a centralised e-platform to issue Unique Disabled Identity (UDID) cards.
